Jennifer B McCormick, PhD, MPP (Jen) is Assistant Professor of Biomedical Ethics at Mayo Clinic in the Divisions of General Internal Medicine and Health Care Policy Research.  Her research activities broadly examine the intersection of science, policy, and society. Some of her current studies focus on the ethical, policy, and social implications of translating whole exome and whole genome sequencing into clinical practice, approaches to enhancing research informed consent, and views of scientists on notions of professionalism, accountability, and social responsibility.  Her work has appeared in Nature Biotechnology, American Journal of Bioethics, Cell Stem Cell, Clinical Translational Science, and PLoS ONE.
